Electroetching with UV-polymerfilm
1.Clean the surface of the blade
The surface must either be ground finer than Grit 250 or polished.
It is important that the blade must been completely degreased. Otherwise binds polyfilmen not properly on the blade.
1. Put on clean disposable gloves in order to avoid greasing sheet.
2. The magazine degreased therefore by cleaning the blade with a porridge of Vienna lime and methylated spirits. Come a little winerkalk porridge on both sides of the leaf and rub it clean with perfectly clean disposable cloths. Rinse. Repeat 3 times.
3. Blow the blade clean with compressed air. If you wipe with a cloth, there is great risk of inflicting a fatty membrane.
4. If you see a fine bluish coating, it can be removed with a spray of 3% vinegar followed by a spray alcohol. Blow dry with compressed air.
5. Fat Test: Spray water on the blade and let the drops flow together. If they are not in a thin layer, then you must degrease again.
